Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and banquet facilities. Applicants must be dependable with a strong focus on cleanliness.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas and rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning services.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and sanitation standards while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist in janitorial duties for public spaces when required, ensuring all areas are kept clean and presentable.
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on sanitation practices is essential.
- Good communication skills will assist in working together as a team.
