The Counseling Team International (TCTI) has been a trusted provider of employee support services for law enforcement, fire, emergency services, and governmental agencies since 1985. Founded by Nancy K. Bohl-Penrod, Ph.D., TCTI originally focused on Critical Incident Intervention, significantly reducing Worker’s Compensation claims for affected personnel. Over time, the organization expanded its offerings to include counseling for personnel and their families, as well as comprehensive training programs. This is a contract Clinician role located on-site in Corona, CA. The Clinician will provide mental health support services, including individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, and critical incident stress debriefings. They will collaborate with emergency services and governmental agencies to address mental health challenges and conduct training sessions as needed. The Clinician will also maintain comprehensive session records and uphold confidentiality standards.
- Proficiency in Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, and Crisis Intervention
- Experience with Critical Incident Response and Stress Debriefing
- Strong Communication and Active Listening Skills
- Knowledge of Trauma-Informed Care Practices
- Licensure in Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field (LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
- Ability to work effectively with emergency services personnel and governmental agencies
- Experience working with law enforcement and first responders is a plus
- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
