Role Description
This is a Part-Time contractor (1099) role for Clinicians based out of your own office and telehealth. The Clinician will provide individual, group, and family counseling services to first responders and their families. Responsibilities include conducting professional evaluations, delivering therapy sessions, and responding to critical incidents as needed. The role will also involve collaborating with TCTI’s team. Clinicians that join the CISM team may be required to respond promptly to calls outside regular working hours due to the nature of the work.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in providing individual, group, and family counseling services
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Experience with trauma response, crisis intervention, and assessing mental health
- Excellent communication, active listening, and empathy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and under pressure
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
- State licensure or licensure eligibility in California (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or similar)
- Previous experience working with first responders or emergency services personnel is a plus
- Flexibility to provide services during evenings, weekends, or emergency calls
