Role Description
The Counseling Collaborative is seeking a full-time licensed mental health therapist for a contract role on-site at our Overland Park, KS location. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive treatment plans, conducting assessments and case management, and providing therapeutic support for a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal and life transitions. Collaboration with other team members and contributing to a welcoming, supportive environment are integral to the role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in women's mental health
- Skills in diagnosis, treatment planning and crisis management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dual licensure as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent) in KS and MO
- Trainer in EMDR
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
