F.T. position; Current assigned weekly shifts – 2 day shifts, and 3 day/early evening shifts per week, regularly). The schedule is subject to change per the agency/supervisor’s need for evening shift coverage, on occasion.

OVERVIEW:
Effectively utilize the telephone system along with the Streamline computer system (including accurate data entry) , other computer programs, and other office equipment in the performance of assigned job duties to produce the maximum amount of high quality work. Includes expeditious, courteous and accurate handling of all incoming calls. Routinely meet department specific productivity expectations. Accurately schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments to maximize productivity and provide excellent customer services. Consistently maintain a courteous, professional and helpful manner in assisting clients, staff, and the general public. Promote a positive image as a representative of the agency. Adhere to all agency and HIPAA requirements regarding client confidentiality. Effectively process re-determinations according to supervisory guidelines. Accurately prepare intake/reopen letters and process screening forms appropriately (to be completed daily). Accurately generate recaps, generate, print and distribute appointment slips as applicable. Consistently verify accuracy of recaps, add and remove ISLs in the computer and on the recap. Verify MITS/abstract information and document on the recap. Deal with crisis situations in a calm, professional manner, utilizing appropriate Center procedures and training. Consistent, timely and accurate completion of time sheets, leave of absence, fax forms, etc. Regular attendance and adherence to work schedule. Other duties as assigned, needed. E.O.E.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED and one year related experience required. Ability to operate a switchboard/telephone system and sit for long periods of time, deal calmly and effectively with the public, agency staff, and occasional crisis situations. Work independently and have strong customer service orientation with a pleasant voice and professional demeanor. Proficiency in computer keyboard data entry and operation of other various standard office equipment required. Both knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word) and behavioral health system preferred. Criminal background, BMV, drug screen and credit check clearances required.
