As an Assistant Manager of Butlers, you will take charge of a team to accommodate a unique clientele, providing unconventional complimentaries and dynamic service that is sure to empower guests to create their own adventures in our enchanting urban playground.

Primary job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to all Butlers and Coordinators. Establish and communicate performance related expectations and holds employees accountable.
  • Ensure all employees complete daily duties and maintain documentation of work performed via checklists, HotSOS etc.
  • Assist in maintaining a well-developed guest preference database and ensures all guest information is kept current and confidential.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with partners in Casino Operations, Casino Marketing, Food and Beverage, Sales, Front Office, Banquets, etc… and ensures Butler Operations works seamlessly with all other areas.
  • Conduct Regular Suite Inspections, report deficiencies, and assist in rerecording of work needing to be completed.
  • Oversee cocktail and dinner parties, receptions, entertainment and other services upon request. Work with food and beverage, hotel operations, and other partner departments to execute events when assistance is required.
  • Responsible for administrative duties including payroll, section assignments, early outs, etc.
  • Provide Pre-Shift Daily to all employees and provides information on guests, events, procedures, etc.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to employees when required.
  • Maintain well-developed and comprehensive training program. Facilitate execution of all training initiatives and monitor outcomes. Ensure all training materials and Standard Operating Procedures are kept current and made available to employees.
  • Maintain inventory of all operating supplies. Ensure regular review of inventories, par levels, storage room organization, and makes recommendations to add or remove supplies when needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and activities.
  • Allocate work time effectively to ensure proper attention is given to all assigned responsibilities.
  • Continually update and attend training classes as mandated by management to assist in furthering their knowledge and skills.
  • Execute all operational initiatives as directed by the Director of Butler Services ensuring successful implantation and results.
  • Responsible for maintaining integrity of relationships to ensure outstanding guest experiences, and maximizing revenue internally and through commissionable channels.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a large, luxury hotel operation.
  • At least two years of food & beverage management experience in an upscale or fine-dining establishment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Experience with POS systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively with other department employees and guests.
  • Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies and procedures.
  • Skill in building and maintaining relationships with guests.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Superior level of attention to detail.
  • Advanced understanding of Fine Dining Service and Luxury Hotel Service.
  • Intermediate understanding of Casino Marketing and Operations.
  • Title 26 knowledge.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules policies, procedures and state & federal regulatory requirements.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

  • High-end gaming experience.
  • Fluency in another language.
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • Bachelor's degree and three to four years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Work is performed in an office environment and throughout the property in all locations.
  • Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
  • Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests is necessary.
  • Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
  • Bending and reaching.
  • Transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
  • Use of standard office equipment.
  • Basic math.
  • Ability to push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing up to 5 lbs.
  • The ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
