Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering.
- Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store through effective merchandising strategies.
- Stock shelves and ensure inventory is well-displayed and replenished as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service.
- Utilize basic math skills for transactions and retail math for inventory management.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred.
- Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership abilities within a retail setting.
