What are the responsibilities and job description for the Market Grounds Attendant position at The Cornucopia Foundation?
Join the team behind one of Southern California’s most well-known farmers markets. We’re looking for a dependable, hard-working person to help with weekly market setup, operations, and breakdown every Sunday in Malibu.
Must live within approximately 35–40 minutes of Malibu.
Applicants from Agoura Hills, Calabasas, West Hills, Woodland Hills, Thousand Oaks, Canoga Park, and nearby surrounding areas are strongly preferred due to early setup hours.
Sundays Approximately:
7:15 AM – 4:30 PM
What the Job Includes:
- Setting up pop-up tents, tables, and chairs before the market opens
- Assisting with general market operations during the day
- Helping keep the grounds clean and organized
- Assisting at our merchandise booth when needed
- Breaking down and storing market equipment at the end of the day
This is an active outdoor position. You should be comfortable being on your feet, working outdoors, and moving tables, chairs, tents, and supplies throughout the day. The heavier work is mainly during setup and breakdown.
The market atmosphere is fast-paced but enjoyable, surrounded by local food, music, vendors, and the Malibu community.
