System Administrator

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with a background in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment to join our IT team. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple client environments (or complex internal environments), has strong hands-on Microsoft administration skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, ticket-driven support setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 system administration support across Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure AD/Entra environments
- Design, deploy, and maintain SharePoint sites and site collections for internal teams and/or clients
- Create, manage, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and configuration standards
- Configure and manage device policies, compliance, and app deployment through Microsoft Intune
- Monitor system performance, backups, and security across servers and endpoints
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory / Entra ID)
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner
- Document processes, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes and IT projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant System Administrator experience
- Prior experience working at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) supporting multiple clients or environments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Hands-on experience creating and managing SharePoint sites
- Proven experience creating and managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Practical experience with Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance
- Solid understanding of Active Directory / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server administration
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104, or similar)
- Experience with RMM and PSA tools commonly used in MSP environments
- Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation
- Exposure to Azure infrastructure and networking fundamentals
