Assistant Association Property Manager - partial remote

• APPLY ONLY IF YOU CURRENTLY LIVE WITHIN the CLEVELAND, OHIO metro area - must live within 45-min of Independence, OH.
• MUST be able to travel to community locations throughout Cleveland and surrounding metro area, as business needs dictate (typically a few times per week), and to our corporate office in Independence, Ohio as required on occasion. You will be reimbursed for mileage to our community locations.
• Salary, exempt = $60,000 - $65,000 depending on experience (non-negotiable).
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, with an unpaid hour for lunch. 7.5-hrs/day and 37.5-hrs/week. However, you will be expected to work some week day evenings for client board meetings, and respond to occasional after-hours emergencies.
• EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 3-5 years of external-facing, high-volume customer service experience, preferably within association (HOA/COA) property management.
• REQUIRED: must have a dedicated work space and high-speed internet connection to work from home.
• REQUIRED: must speak English.
• REQUIRED: must pass a criminal & credit history background screening prior to hire.
• REQUIRED: must possess a valid driver license and reliable transportation.

Summary:

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a great deal of external-facing customer service experience, especially in challenging situations, and working knowledge and experience in association (HOA/COA) property management - may also consider rental property or hotel management experience.

Primary Responsibilities (relevant work experience REQUIRED):

• Provide outstanding customer service to owners, guests, and the communities in general primarily via phones calls and emails.
• Assist the property manager with management responsibilities relating to customer service, physical community upkeep and safety, and financial responsibilities.
• High-level Microsoft Office Suite experience and skill-set are required (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Be responsive - respond to and resolve owner issues in a timely manner, be responsive with fellow team members.
• Communication and follow-up...with everyone.
• Be organized - maintain a to-do list.
• Assist with budgeting and planning.
• Assist with banking, financial planning and performance.
• Ensure all work order and repair requests are processed in a timely manner.
• Assist with obtaining proposals and managing vendors.
• Help enforce property and associations' rules and regulations.
• Training and the majority of work for this position is completed through Zoom video calls, e-mail, phone calls, and in-person when necessary. There are occasional business needs that will require you to go on-site to a community within the Cleveland metro area, and our corporate office in Independence.
