Location: Eugene Ko-Kwel Wellness Center- OTP
This position is a covered position as defined in the Coquille Indian Tribe Chapter 185 Child Protection Ordinance.
Candidate must pass a pre-employment drug screen and Criminal and Character Background Check.
JOB SUMMARY OF MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Under the supervision of the OTP Director the OTP Coordinator is responsible for supporting the administrative and organizational needs of the Ko-Kwel Wellness Center Opioid Treatment Program. The OTP Coordinator will work closely with the OTP Director, Behavioral Health Executive Director, and Chief Medical Officer/OTP Medical Director to ensure an efficient, compliant, trauma informed and patient-centered experience for OTP clients. The OTP Coordinator promotes a culture of professionalism, clinical and ethical values and standards. They also focus on building a welcoming working environment, promoting the tribe’s culture, vision and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Abides by laws and regulations of the Coquille Indian Tribe (CIT) and by the policies and procedures of the KWC. The OTP Coordinator will comply with all state, federal, local rules and CARF regulations and standards.
2. Provide administrative support to the Opioid Treatment Program including scheduling meetings, calendar invites, and maintaining meeting minutes. Track action items from meetings and ensure timely follow-up by responsible party/parties
3. Support community outreach and promotion events
4. Support positive community relationships and partnerships as advised by OTP Director, Executive Director of Behavioral Health, CMO/OTP Medical Director and/or Health and Wellness Division CEO
5. Schedule tours of the OTP as needed for community partners consistent with privacy rules
6. Responsible for learning and becoming familiar with the CARF accreditation process and supporting policy development, documentation collection, and organization of accreditation documents with support and guidance from OTP Director
7. Assist with preparation of documentation, reports and binders for all audits including CARF, OHA, DEA and any other regulatory body
8. Ensure forms, handbooks, and logs are updated consistent with KWC policy and procedure and available as needed
9. Support OTP Director in maintaining organized policies and procedures
10. Support consistent, accurate and reliable communication and information exchange between KWC departments and team members. Responsible for alerting OTP Director of any identified non-compliance or areas for improvement.
11. Responsible for learning the roles of the OTP Receptionist, OTP Intake Specialist, and Medical Records to provide back-up for these positions as needed
12. Monitor appointment scheduling, communication logs and follow-up tasks to ensure timely follow-up and outreach
13. Supports OTP Director with assigning and tracking trainings (new hire and annual trainings)
14. Participates in KWC meetings as required and as directed by OTP Director
15. Coordinate with Administrative Assistant(s) or appropriate team members on inventory and supply needs for the OTP
16. Monitor and ensure cleanliness and supplies of OTP client care areas
17. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Requires the ability to communicate orally, repetitive movement of the wrists, hands and/or fingers, often requires walking, standing, sitting, raising or lowering objects, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and occasionally requires lifting up to 25 pounds. Work is generally performed in a medical clinic or office setting. Work involves exposure to hazardous materials, high risk/dangerous situations, infectious disease, dust, fumes, and allergens. May be required to travel by automobile, commercial or private carrier. Local travel is frequently required, statewide and national travel is occasionally required. The individual must perform the essential duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation efficiently and accurately without causing a significant safety threat to self or others.

7. Recognize and acknowledge that they will have access to certain confidential information and that such information constitutes valuable, special, and unique property of the Coquille Indian Tribe. The OTP Coordinator, during or after the term of employment, without the consent of the Coquille
Indian Tribe, disclose any such confidential information to any other person, firm, corporation, association, or other entity for any reason or purpose whatsoever except as may be ordered by a court or governmental agency or as may otherwise be required by law. 8. Be computer literate. Exhibit a level of computer literacy sufficient to use software such as word processing, spreadsheets, and databases to produce correspondence, documents, and reports.
9. Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and objectivity under constant pressure and crisis situations. A breach of confidentiality or fraud is grounds for immediate dismissal.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in a health care related field preferred.
2. Administrative experience and experience working in tribal health preferred.
3. 3 years of administrative experience working in an Opioid Treatment Program/Substance Use Disorder Program, behavioral health program, or other health care facility required.
4. Familiarity with CARF or AAAHC accreditation required
5. Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives, metrics and strategies preferred
6. Experience with OCHIN Epic and/or Methasoft preferred
7. Current and valid Oregon Driver’s License in good standing is required with no insurability restrictions from the Tribe’s insurance carrier.
8. Required to accept the responsibility of a mandatory reporter of abuse and neglect of infants and children, people who are elderly or dependent, individuals with mental illness or development disabilities or residents of nursing homes and other health care facilities. This includes reporting any evidence of physical injury, neglect, sexual or emotional abuse or financial exploitation.
9. First Aid/CPR certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
