Line Cook / Prep Cook – Join The Coop Team

At The Coop, we’re more than just a breakfast and brunch spot open from 7am-3pm. We’re a fast-growing, high-energy restaurant built on great food, strong teamwork, and a family-oriented culture. Located in Waukesha, we’re looking to expand our kitchen team with passionate, reliable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and take pride in what they put on every plate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Execute menu items efficiently and consistently in a high-volume kitchen
  • Read and accurately prepare orders from tickets in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards at all times
  • Stock and prep your station to ensure smooth service
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to keep operations running seamlessly
  • Follow all WEDC and CDC guidelines to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
  • Assist with prep work and support other stations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1 year of line cook or prep cook experience (preferred)
  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
  • Strong work ethic and sense of urgency in a fast-paced setting
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
  • Availability to work weekends (required)

Ubicados en Waukesha, buscamos personas apasionadas, responsables y trabajadoras que se desempeñen bien en un ambiente rápido y de alto volumen, y que se enorgullezcan de cada plato que preparan. Abrimos 7 en la mañana - 3 en la noche

Responsabilidades:

  • Preparar y ejecutar los platillos del menú de manera eficiente y consistente
  • Leer y preparar órdenes correctamente desde los tickets en tiempo oportuno
  • Mantener limpieza, organización y estándares de seguridad alimentaria en todo momento
  • Abastecer y preparar su estación para un servicio fluido
  • Trabajar en equipo para mantener la operación de la cocina sin problemas
  • Seguir todas las normas de WEDC y CDC para un ambiente seguro y sanitario
  • Apoyar en la preparación y ayudar a otras estaciones según sea necesario

Requisitos:

  • 1 año de experiencia como cocinero de línea o preparación (preferido)
  • Certificación de manejo de alimentos (preferido)
  • Capacidad para trabajar bajo presión y mantener la calma
  • Fuerte ética de trabajo y sentido de urgencia
  • Actitud positiva y enfoque en trabajo en equipo
  • Disponibilidad para trabajar fines de semana (requerido)
