This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry expertise while being part of a welcoming team dedicated to excellence. Pay is a minimum of $13.00 per hour plus tips. You'll need to bring cash as a server banker. Servers have made upward of $70,000 with tips. Smiling & friendliness is a must to make to make great tips. Must be able to be on time.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly, take their orders efficiently, and serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for accurate order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper food handling and cleaning procedures
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast, and cashiering procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently with effective time management in a fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with food industry standards for sanitation, food safety, and proper food handling
- Experience with server tools like reservations management and upselling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and accurate transactions
- Knowledge of culinary practices or kitchen experience is a plus for supporting food prep when needed
