Job Summary
The Cook’s Station is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic team member who has an interest in the culinary world to join our team. This role will primarily assist as a café register associate while also helping support our hands-on cooking classes as a class assistant.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and is excited to be in a fast-paced, food-focused environment. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, assisting customers at the café register, helping keep the space organized, and supporting chefs and instructors during cooking classes.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately using Counterpoint POS,, and process cash and card transactions with precision.
- Some light food preparation involved.
- Assist in setting up, organizing, and cleaning the cooking class area before, during, and after sessions to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
- Support culinary instructors by helping with ingredient preparation, equipment setup, and class demonstrations as needed.
- Manage food handling responsibilities including sanitation, proper storage, and adherence to health regulations.
- Handle bussing duties efficiently to maintain cleanliness in dining and cooking areas, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is a preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks quickly and accurately during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing transactions confidently.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
