Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trackhoes for excavation, trenching, grading, and underground utility installations
- Read and interpret blueprints, site layouts, and grade stakes for precise digging and placement
- Maintain a safe working environment around underground utilities, adhering to established protocols
- Perform daily equipment inspections to identify maintenance needs and report findings
- Load and unload materials as required for efficient job site operations
- Assist with general labor tasks when equipment operation is not necessary
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, crew members, and project managers
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating trackhoes in utility-focused construction environments
- Demonstrated understanding of grading, trenching, and excavation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and grade stakes
- Familiarity with working around underground utilities
- Strong commitment to safety best practices and protocols
