How You Will Make An Impact
We are a family business. Literally. Our founders, office team, and several of our techs are family. We operate with the kind of trust and accountability that comes from people who actually care about each other’s success.
Scott’s rule: Provide the most affordable repairs possible, deliver excellent service, and get it done right the first time.
Gary’s rule: Communicate everything — scheduling, parts delays, running late. A customer who is kept informed is a customer who stays patient and calls you back next time.
Our rule on honesty: Own your mistakes, communicate them immediately, and trust that we will figure it out together. Honesty is the only thing we can’t work around.
You’re Independent, But Never Alone-
Our techs are spread across multiple states, but nobody works in a silo. Seasoned technicians are always a phone call away when you hit something you haven’t seen before. We also keep active team communication channels where techs across all territories share questions, solutions, and real-time support — someone in Florida might be the one who helps you solve a problem in Houston.
We have an array of personality types and backgrounds. We have everything from retired veterans, women technicians that often felt overlooked for a position as a field tech, and young to old. Those with working history that have worked in the HVAC industry to this was their first job out of high school. What they all have in common is mechanical aptitude, work ethic, and the drive to build something of their own.
About Us
ABNation Inc is a fast-growing residential pool equipment repair and service company operating across multiple states. We are a family-owned, operator-run business — not a corporate call center with a pool division stapled on.
Our founders still get calls from customers they served over a decade ago. That’s not luck. That’s the culture we’ve built and the standard we hire to.
We believe communication is the heartbeat of great service. We believe in doing it right the first time. And we believe the people who show up, do the work correctly, and build relationships deserve to be rewarded like partners not punched-in employees.
We foster a supportive environment where independent professionals build long-term career success. Learn more at https://www.abnation.us.

How You Will Make An Impact
- Direct daily field operations and service execution across your assigned residential territory.
- Manage complex Residential Pools Equipment repair service delivery to guarantee high-quality results.
- Coordinate independent travel logistics to maintain strict project and client schedules.
- Resolve real-time technical challenges on-site to maintain project transparency and trust.
- Cultivate strong client relationships to expand the company's regional market footprint.
- Oversee territory budgets and operational workflows to maximize regional profitability.
- You will be dispatched to residential homes to diagnose and repair swimming pool equipment — pumps, motors, automation systems, heaters, filters, valves, and more. Work orders come through our system. You will set your schedule to diagnose, get approval for the work to be done, order parts on our accounts, complete the repairs, document and communicate every step of the way — to us and to the customer. We do have contracts that require us to stay within guidelines of repairs that will be involved in the process.
- This is outside field work. This involves all weather conditions. We are mostly in very hot temperature markets, but there will be rain, cooler temps, sometimes snow in some locations. If that makes you nervous, this probably isn’t your role. If that sounds like a normal Tuesday — keep reading.
- You are a self-starter — nobody punches you in or out. You get up and get moving because that’s who you are
- You stay calm when a customer is not — you don’t blow up your schedule because someone raised their voice
- You can explain WHY something failed, in plain English to a homeowner who is already confused or frustrated
- You see aging equipment and know how to have an honest conversation about an upgrade that helps the customer AND helps your paycheck
- You want to put your name — literally your sticker on the automation box — on every job you complete, because you’re proud of the work and you want that phone to ring again
- You want to build relationships with pool service companies and realtors in your market — because rising tides lift all boats
- You want to be part of a team even while working independently — our techs communicate, cover each other, and grow together.
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience within the mechanical trade experience and Swimming pool Equipment repair fieldwork. Repair experience is a must.
- Proven ability to operate independently in a remote capacity with minimal oversight.
- Your own reliable WORK vehicle — SUV, truck, or van and willingness to be in the field for most of your day.
- Your own tools.
- We will provide a ported number to mask your personal number for work calls, but you must have a cell phone.
- Comfortable with technology. We use apps, emails, website portals, and spreadsheets daily. You do not need to create formulas on spreadsheets, but you must be able to utilize one well enough to fill in the information.
- Attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to follow a work order from dispatch to completion without missing details.
- Exceptional communicator — with customers, with our office, with other techs. Phone, text, in person.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing field logistics.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in self-motivated roles managing independent workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of residential swimming pool systems and specialized in installations and repairs.
- Profit-sharing bonuses to reward operational success.
- Direct access to lucrative financial freedom pathways through performance incentives.
- Mileage and travel support provided for extensive territory-based assignments.
