Weir Plumbing Heating and Cooling LLC is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Journeyman HVAC Technician to join our dedicated Field Operations team. This hands-on role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems across residential and commercial job sites. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics for HVAC systems
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on HVAC equipment and controls
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal codes
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and company vehicles
• Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times
• Accurately document service reports, work orders, and material usage
• Mentor apprentices and support the development of junior team members
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and service
• Sheet metal fabrication / installation experience
• Valid JR / JSM license/certification preferred
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must own basic hand tools
• Must pass a background check in compliance with applicable laws
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Full-Time, with occasional overtime based on project needs
