How You Will Make An Impact
- Install code-compliant electrical systems including wiring, conduit, switchgear, enclosures, sub-panels, and transformers for commercial solar projects.
- Read and interpret complex technical blueprints and electrical diagrams to execute precise site installations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain malfunctioning solar components, electrical controls, and power systems using specialized testing equipment.
- Enforce strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local building regulations across all commercial jobsites.
- Coach and guide apprentices and junior electricians to ensure high workmanship standards and proper safety procedures.
- Maintain regular communication with project managers and field superintendents to complete milestones safely and on schedule.
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on electrical experience working on commercial power and wiring systems.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Practical knowledge of NEC codes, local building regulations, and OSHA safety protocols.
- Proven ability to read construction drawings, interpret technical blueprints, and develop execution plans.
- OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver's license.
- Direct experience with commercial PV solar systems, 600V/1000V DC systems, and three-phase power setups.
- Experience working in elevated jobsite environments.
- Strong background in diagnosing and servicing complex electrical controls and communication lines.
