Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
- Clean, lubricate, and service shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, and other machine components.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, wiring, transformers, motors, and controllers.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including gauges, valves, and regulators.
- Perform structural maintenance and basic fabrication using lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines.
- Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to repair or fabricate parts.
- Program and troubleshoot robotics, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
- Ensure strict compliance with company, state, and federal (OSHA) safety policies.
- Collaborate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, engineers, and customers to resolve issues.
- 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related mechanical/electrical repair.
- Technical training or equivalent experience (certificate or degree preferred but not required).
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance manuals, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in using meters, pneumatic/hydraulic tools, and welding equipment.
- Fork Truck (Mobile Equipment Operator) license and valid driver's license preferred .
- Welding certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, bend, and work at varying heights and overnight hours.
- This position is safety sensitive
