How You Will Make An Impact
- Install refrigerant piping, line sets, structural supports, and insulation for advanced VRF/VRV and split systems.
- Set, mount, and connect indoor and outdoor HVAC equipment including condensers, air handlers, and cassette units.
- Execute clean, code-compliant refrigerant piping workflows including professional routing, brazing, and nitrogen purging.
- Pressure test lines and pull proper vacuums to verify complete system integrity before final equipment charging.
- Install condensate piping, drain lines, and pumps in strict accordance with project blueprints and manufacturer guidelines.
- Connect low-voltage control and communication wiring to ensure accurate equipment addressing and startup readiness.
- Coordinate daily jobsite sequencing with your field Foreman to maintain production schedules and eliminate trade conflicts.
- 5 years of HVAC installation experience, with a heavy focus on commercial construction environments.
- Active EPA Universal Certification.
- Proven experience installing VRF/VRV systems (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung, Carrier, Trane).
- Strong capability to read and accurately interpret mechanical drawings, equipment schedules, and submittals.
- Physical capacity to lift 50 pounds regularly, climb ladders, work on rooftops, and navigate active construction sites.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and dependable transportation.
- Possession of basic hand tools appropriate for the HVAC trade.
- Experience with commercial HVAC service, preventative maintenance, or diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Current OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification.
- Familiarity using Procore or alternative digital construction field applications to track jobsite progress.
- Practical experience coordinating equipment rigging, crane lifting, or holding a valid aerial lift certification.
- Background working on mechanical systems inside occupied healthcare, educational, or hospitality facilities.
