Key Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all field operations, including manpower, equipment, and resources.
• Interface daily with Project Managers, foremen, inspectors, subcontractors, and field technicians.
• Manage the complete construction lifecycle of earthwork and grading projects.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and production goals.
• Ensure the implementation and optimization of GPS and grade control systems.
• Monitor safety and enforce compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Interpret plans, specifications, and soils reports with accuracy.
• Oversee documentation, reports, and field communication to ensure alignment between all parties.
• Solve problems proactively to ensure minimal disruption to production and schedule.
• Uphold and promote company values, quality standards, and productivity expectations across all job sites.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising mass grading and earthwork operations.
• Proven leadership in field supervision, particularly as a Foreman or Superintendent.
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods, equipment usage, and production metrics.
• Strong command of GPS and grade-checking technologies.
• Skilled in reading construction plans and reports (including soils and civil drawings).
• Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
• Competent with basic computer applications for project tracking and communication.
• Clear communicator with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results.
• High school diploma or GED required.
