You'll work directly with project managers and leadership to ensure our bids are competitive, profitable, and aligned with production goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from architectural and civil construction plans.
- Prepare cost estimates for residential foundations, flatwork, and coatings projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and schedules for scope clarity.
- Collaborate with project managers to prepare and submit bid proposals.
- Track and analyze actual job costs to improve estimating accuracy.
- Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability.
- Maintain and update estimating databases, material pricing, and historical cost data.
- Participate in job walks or pre-bid meetings as required.
- Ensure that all estimates align with company goals for quality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating or relevant field experience.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction plan interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with take-offs and material quantity calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of construction practices, particularly concrete and foundation systems, preferred.
- Basic computer skills, including Excel or estimating software familiarity.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
