How You Will Make An Impact
- Assist the Lead Driller with the efficient setup, operation, and breakdown of drill rigs.
- Prepare and stage essential drilling tools, casing, and equipment at various project sites.
- Collect and carefully label soil, rock, and groundwater samples according to project specifications.
- Load and unload support vehicles safely while maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and minor preventative maintenance to minimize project downtime.
- Follow all company safety policies, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational credential.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for more than two consecutive years.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate legibly and clearly with clients and co-workers.
- Absolute willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform demanding physical labor.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds as required by field operations.
- Willingness to travel to out-of-town project assignments and work overtime as needed.
- 2 years of related work experience in construction, drilling, or heavy equipment operation.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and proper hand tool operation.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or an interest in obtaining one.Possible pay increase for those with CDL.
