Director of Sales – Lead and Scale Commercial Roofing Sales across the Front Range

Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will serve as a strategic sales leader, owning the results and building the commercial sales function from the ground up. This role allows you to drive pipeline growth across $8M in active opportunities while protecting project margins. You will have the autonomy to shape the sales process and lead a proven team for a company that values long-term relationships over transactional selling.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of W2 sales professionals to ensure consistent activity standards and volume growth.
  • Manage the daily pipeline execution within JobNimbus to separate active leads from stale accounts.
  • Coordinate with estimating and production teams to streamline project handoffs and ensure margin protection.
  • Establish clear prospecting standards and structured follow-up cadences to accelerate deal closures.
  • Resolve real-time bottleneck issues within the sales lifecycle to maintain strict corporate revenue goals.
  • Build over $400K in new commercial opportunities within your first 60 days to expand market share.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience specifically within commercial construction, roofing, or facility services.
  • Verifiable track record of generating substantial commercial pipelines and managing team activity standards.
  • Active, current relationships with property managers, general contractors, or roof consultants in the Colorado market.
  • Proven ability to walk commercial roofs and converse fluently with facilities directors on technical aspects.
  • Strong communication and technical CRM skills necessary for maintaining field documentation and tracking team dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience building or rebuilding a corporate sales process from the ground up.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial roof coating systems, repair workflows, and long-term facility maintenance cycles.
  • Proven background in high-EQ leadership, balancing team accountability with active professional mentorship.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary with high-earning OTE potential up to $190,000 via team commissions.
