Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Project Engineer, you will:
- Interpret project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy in the construction process.
- Assist with reviewing and managing project submittals.
- Generate purchase orders and track material deliveries.
- Support project scheduling and subcontractor coordination.
- Prepare and organize daily field reports for review by project leadership.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and client requirements.
- Provide general support to Project Managers and Superintendents as needed
- U.S. Citizenship (required) – candidates must be U.S. Citizens to meet federal project requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required) or Construction Management (preferred alternative).
- 1 years of experience in heavy civil construction preferred, though entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to pass State & Federal professional reviews to access military bases and Federal facilities.
- Civil Engineer license or active progress toward licensure is a plus.
