How You Will Make An Impact
- Assist lead carpenters with daily tasks including framing, finishing, remodeling, and damage restoration.
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and building components with high precision under supervision.
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials for optimal site efficiency.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely while following all jobsite protocols and OSHA standards.
- Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free residential and commercial work environments.
- Help install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, drywall, and structural elements accurately.
- Actively participate in on-the-job training sessions to advance toward skilled carpenter roles.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation to various jobsites.
- Basic understanding of fundamental construction tools, materials, and safety concepts.
- Practical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work safely at heights or outdoors.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and willingness to learn through hands-on work.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior hands-on experience in general construction, labor, or trade assistance.
- Basic functional proficiency in measuring and construction math skills.
