Senior Java Developer focused on architecting microservices with Spring Boot Kafka on Red Hat OpenShift. This consultant will deploy, manage and scale Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters. Also will configure, manage and monitor containerized applications running on Kubernetes or OpenShift in a role that balances new development with critical maintenance and testing responsibilities.
Contract is for 8 months with a high likelihood of last longer.
Required ( Resume must show this!):
- 8 years Java/JEE microservices development with Spring REST and Spring Boot
- 4 year -f integrating KAFKA for Event Driven Workflows
- 2 years of KAFKA Administration
- 1 year using AI Tools such as Claude Code
- 4 years working with Red Hat OpenShift Container platform
- 4 years developing automated unit tests with JUnit
- 4 years Eclipse or Spring Tool Suite or JBoss studio – 4 years
- 3 years Github, JIRA
- 2 years Oracle Exadata
Preferred Skills:
- CI/CD Pipeline using GitHub Actions
- Agile methodologies and working as Scrum Master
