Wedding Venue Attendant (Part-Time)
Pay: $14.00–$18.00 per hour
Location: Ever After Estates at The Conrad Mansion – Conrad, IA

This position is primarily Saturday afternoons and evenings, with occasional weekday and Friday shifts throughout the wedding season.
What You'll Do
As a Wedding Venue Attendant, you'll play an important role in creating an exceptional experience for our couples and their guests.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and arrange ceremony and reception tables and chairs
- Keep the venue clean and presentable throughout the event
- Clean up spills and wet floors promptly to maintain guest safety
- Empty trash and replace liners as needed
- Mop, sweep, and maintain restrooms and guest areas
- Help keep outdoor ceremony and reception areas clean and inviting
- Assist with event transitions and end-of-night cleanup
- Work alongside our event team to ensure weddings run smoothly
- Perform other duties as needed during weddings and special events

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with venue orientation upon arrival
- Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations

- Manage guest inquiries and resolve conflicts promptly using effective conflict management skills
- Handle heavy lifting of equipment and supplies while maintaining proper manual handling techniques
- Provide outdoor support during events, including setting up outdoor seating areas and managing outdoor safety measures
- Support event coordination by communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all venue areas throughout events
Requirements
- Previous experience in event venue management or hospitality is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Experience working with children is a plus for family-oriented events
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor setup work
- Experience with outdoor work environments and safety protocol adherence is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking and guest interactions
