As we continue to raise our standards of service excellence, we are seeking a highly capable Human Resources Coordinator to provide operational support across all HR functions. This role focuses on executing day-to-day HR administrative tasks, supporting recruitment and training coordination, maintaining employee records, and ensuring accurate HR documentation and compliance support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, HR documentation, and employee recordkeeping.
- Serve as key operational support within the HR department, collaborating closely with HR Managers and Generalists to ensure smooth workflows, accurate processes, and effective team coordination.
- Assist in managing HR systems, maintaining accurate employee records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
- Support applicant tracking system (ATS) updates and recruitment documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires in collaboration with HR Generalists.
- Assist in the coordination of training sessions, workshops, and employee development programs.
- Support scheduling, attendance tracking, and maintenance of training records.
- Ensure proper documentation of training activities and compliance requirements.
- Provide operational support to recruitment, training, and labor relations initiatives as needed.
- Assist with internal audits and compliance reporting.
- Ensure HR files and documentation comply with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations.
- Support adherence to HR policies and procedures across all HR activities.
- Support HR projects, process improvements, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and optimize workflows.
- Assist in implementing updates to HR workflows and administrative procedures.
- Stay current on HR best practices, industry trends, and labor market changes relevant to the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the service or hospitality industry.
Familiarity with ADP and HRIS systems is a plus.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Experience in recruitment and/or training support is a plus
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, discrete, and capable of handling confidential information.
- Understanding of HR compliance and labor regulations in Puerto Rico and the U.S.
- Experience in process improvement and workflow automation is highly desirable.
