The Conco Companies is seeking full time Project Engineers. There are several immediate available positions for both entry level and experienced project engineers on various commercial and residential projects. Conco is one of the largest specialty concrete contractors on the West Coast. We deliver projects of varying sizes, and across multiple sectors. We broke the record for the largest continuous concrete pour in the United States, and built the two tallest buildings on the West Coast. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Motivated self-starter, and desire to be better.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Generate, publish, and distribute RFI’s to team members to ensure accurate information is being used in the field.
· Diligently review, organize, and compile shop drawings from contract drawings to better our coordination efforts.
· Generate and provide submittals, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
· Diligently keep current and relevant information in the hands of the craft foremen and superintendents in the field.
· Assist project management team in tracking quantities to measure productivity rates and generating WIP reports.
· Assist Project Manager with contracts, change orders, subcontractors, meetings, scheduling, and billing.
· Assist the project safety team with safety inspections and documentation per Conco’s safety program and policies, as well as any other site-specific safety requirements.
· Assist with material ordering, safety reports, daily logs, tracking reports, concrete checklists, and formwork checklists.
· Operate robotic stations, laser scanners, drones, and generate reports.
· Support project team with on-going quality control procedures and the as-built drawing documentation process.
· Remain in constant communication with Field Supervisors, assisting with any project needs.
