What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Coach (Teacher Assistant) position at The Concept School?
The Concept School (TCS) is looking to fill a student coach position. The selected candidate will work with teachers in meeting the needs of our students in grades 6-12 who learn differently. We offer small class sizes and individualized instruction and the student coach will often work one-on-one with a student, under the teachers direction. The teacher assistant will also monitor recess and fill-in when teachers are absent. Interested candidates must send a cover letter and resume to the email listed.
TCS serves middle and high school students who are on the spectrum, have anxiety and executive functioning challenges, and those who become overwhelmed in larger, more traditional school. We serve approximately 35 students in a supportive and nurturing environment. We are not a school for behavioral issues.
Salary : $25,000 - $30,000
