Role Description
The IP Litigation Attorney will play a critical role in representing clients in intellectual property disputes. This full-time, on-site position is based in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing motions, conducting depositions, representing clients in court proceedings, including trials, and providing legal analysis for intellectual property enforcement and defense. The attorney will work closely with clients to understand their needs and strategize effective legal solutions. We will train you in intellectual property law if you do not have prior experience.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Law with a focus on litigation matters
- Experience drafting and filing Motions with precision and accuracy
- Proficiency in navigating Courts and handling legal processes related to IP litigation
- Skilled in managing Depositions and participating in Trials
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- Clear and effective communication and negotiation skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership
- Previous experience in IP litigation is highly preferred, but not required
