Reentry Success Coordinator

The Reentry Success Coordinator supports individuals who successfully graduate into the Partners in Hope (PIH) reentry program by helping them build meaningful connections, mentorship relationships, and a supportive community as they transition back into society. This role focuses on cultivating faith-centered mentorship, encouragement, accountability, and community engagement for individuals returning from incarceration. The coordinator will recruit and guide volunteer mentors, work alongside faith communities, and help participants establish stability, dignity, and hope as they rebuild their lives. Through mentorship and compassionate support, the Reentry Success Coordinator helps participants strengthen relationships, grow personally and spiritually, and successfully reintegrate into the community.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteer mentors from local churches and community partners.
• Match mentors with PIH participants based on background, life experience, and needs.
• Provide guidance and ongoing support to mentors to ensure healthy and encouraging relationships.
• Facilitate regular mentor check-ins and gatherings that strengthen the mentorship community.
• Develop mentor orientation and training rooted in compassion, accountability, and faith-based support.
Participant Support• Build trusting relationships with individuals returning from incarceration through the PIH program.
• Encourage participants as they rebuild stability, personal responsibility, and community connections.
• Help participants navigate the challenges of reentry through mentorship, encouragement, and practical support.
Faith-Based Community Engagement• Develop relationships with churches and organizations interested in supporting reentry participants.
• Coordinate opportunities for communities to serve as mentors, volunteers, and support networks.
• Represent The Community Warehouse and the PIH program at community meetings, faith gatherings, and outreach events.
Qualifications• Passion for supporting individuals rebuilding their lives after incarceration.
• Commitment to the values of faith, compassion, restoration, and community support.
• Experience in mentoring, ministry, community outreach, or reentry services preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience working with volunteers or faith-based programs is a plus.
• Associate's degree in social work, ministry, criminal justice, community development, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
