Responsibilities
Provides palliative and health care services to patients in collaboration with the palliative care physician service and the rest of the palliative care team.
Qualifications
Education• Graduate of approved nursing program required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Experience
• One year experience in the field of Palliative Care, geriatric or end of life care or a related nursing specialty. Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC), to be completed within one year of hire.
