The Community Fire Company of Perryville, Maryland, Inc. has been serving our community for over 100 years providing fire, rescue, and emergency response to our citizens and visitors.

Position Summary - Functions as Driver/EMT on an emergency medical unit operating in Perryville, Maryland. Safely operates vehicle. Provides BLS or ALS patient care and movement. Documents all transports completely per Company SOP. Adheres to all Company policies and procedures.
Qualifications - Must be age 21 or older; High School Diploma or GED; State Issued Driver’s License; AHA Basic Life Support Certification or AHA Advanced Life Support Certification; State of Maryland and National EMS Certification (ALS Providers); Minimum One (1) Year Prior EMS Field Experience; Excellent communication skills; Ability to work various shifts.
Required Training - Hazardous Materials Operations; Emergency Vehicle Operations (EVOC); NIMMS 100, 200, 700 and 800, and EMEDS and MAIS Medical Reporting.
Compensation - ALS Driver/EMT - $25.81/hour; BLS Driver/EMT - $21.11/hour; Paid Time Off; Company Paid Benefits (employee only FREE; additional family coverage available); Company provided uniforms; Ongoing continuing education opportunities.
Work Schedule - 24/72 with built in overtime each pay!
