We Are Seeking a Naval Architect IV To Join Our Team Near The Washington, DC Navy Yard. Upon Award, The Ideal Candidate Will
- Provide analysis on ship hulls and superstructures, study design products and specifications to establish basic characteristics of a ship, such as size, weight, and speed, lead teams from a variety of specialties to oversee building and testing prototypes, evaluate how ships perform during trials, both at dock and at sea, and change designs as needed to make sure national and international standards are met.
Position Requirements
Required Education, Skills, And Experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; Master’s in naval architecture or marine engineering preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in Naval Architecture.
- DoD/DoN procedures and Policies (DoD 5000 process) experience preferred.
- Top Secret clearance
- US Citizenship
