Automotive Body Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair. with hands-on experience in various automotive repair techniques. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs including collision repair, dent removal, and frame straightening.
• Utilize MIG welding and fabrication techniques to restore vehicle integrity.
• Use hand tools, power tools.
• Handle sheet metal work including cutting, shaping, and installation.
• Assist in auto estimating for accurate repairs
• Participate in assembly tasks as required during the repair process.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Automotive Body Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, and various fabrication techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
• Experience in automotive repair.
• Knowledge of detailing processes to ensure vehicles are presented at their best.
• Competence in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 80 per week
