What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concessions Attendant position at The Colonial Theatre and SHOWROOM?
GENERAL DUTIES: Concessions Attendants are the friendly faces getting the snacks and drinks to Colonial and SHOWROOM patrons efficiently, and taking care of all of the behind-the-scenes tasks to make the Concessions Stand run well.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to our patrons, with a neat and professional appearance and demeanor. Help with concessions questions, and directing patrons to the right person for all other inquiries.
- Participate in all activities directly related to concession sales, including selling to the public, stocking/restocking, and keeping inventory records, and reporting any problems or low supplies in a timely way.
- Prepare the concessions stand for business: make popcorn, verify cash drawer, stock as necessary.
- Prepare concessions stand for closing: count the cash drawer, report concessions totals, clean, and restock supplies.
- Maintain the concessions stand according to specific sanitation standards and house policies; keep concessions stand organized and tidy.
- Perform additionally required cleaning tasks as directed by the sanitation and health code schedules. (Deep cleaning the popcorn machine with cleanser, rotating out expired stock, etc.)
- Complete scheduled marquee changes as required.
- Other duties as assigned
SCHEDULE: This position requires weekend and evening shifts.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Cash-handling, attention to detail, and customer service experience is preferred.
COMPENSATION: $12/hour plus tips
