EHS Manager (Environmental Health and Safety Manager) - Manufacturing
We’re seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to drive compliance, safety, and sustainability at a world class manufacturing site just outside Greensboro, NC. This role ensures a safe workplace, regulatory adherence (OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001, OHSAS 18001), and continuous improvement in occupational health, safety and environmental programs.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead site EHS initiatives, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
✅ Conduct audits, risk assessments, and safety training to prevent incidents
✅ Coordinates emergency response preparedness and injury prevention programs
✅ Monitor environmental impact, including air and water compliance
✅ Investigate workplace incidents, manage OSHA reporting, and drive corrective actions
✅ Oversee PPE programs, employee safety, and facility inspections
Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety or relevant (or 10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing)
✔ Expertise in OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001/45001, OHSAS 18001 compliance
✔ Strong leadership, problem-solving, and Microsoft Office skills
