We are interested in hiring faculty who can contribute to the intellectual vibrancy of the community through a breadth of curricular offerings, inclusive and student-centered pedagogies, and a commitment to intercultural fluency.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to supervise undergraduate research projects as part of the College’s Independent Study (I.S) requirement. All faculty teach non-major courses and contribute to the First-Year Seminar Program. The teaching load is 5.5 courses per year (which includes credited mentoring for student I.S. projects).

Letters of recommendation will be solicited prior to the first round of interviews. The cover letter and teaching philosophy should include information on your understanding of inclusive student-centered pedagogy and mentoring, as well as plans or goals for advancing these efforts as College of Wooster faculty.
