At CHCP (The College of Health Care Professions), we’re looking for a driven Radiology Technologist (LMRT) Externship Coordinator to support students as they transition from classroom learning to real-world clinical experience.
In this role, you’ll serve as a key link between students, faculty, and healthcare partners, ensuring meaningful externship opportunities that lead to career success.
✨ What You’ll Do- Recruit, develop, and maintain externship site partnerships within the medical community
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards
- Achieve program goals, including 40% extern-to-hire conversion rates
- Monitor and maintain accurate records, including evaluations, timecards, and surveys
- Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and externship sites
- Conduct weekly site visits and maintain communication with site supervisors
- Organize and lead externship orientations
- Support students with career readiness, including resume building and interview preparation
- Collaborate with the Placement Coordinator to support post-graduation employment
- Maintain affiliation agreements and ensure accurate documentation in CampusVue
- Track student progress and conduct final exit evaluations
- Participate in staff meetings, student orientations, and campus initiatives
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Completion of an LMRT Program or Certificate (3 years experience)
OR
Radiologic Technology Associate’s Degree (2 years experience) - Required certifications: ARRT, RT, or LMRT
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet performance goals
