We are seeking an energetic, experienced and dedicated Retail Sales Associate specializing in Interior Design to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Demonstrate product features through engaging demos and detailed explanations to inform purchasing decisions
• Assist customers with design needs.
• Assist customers retail sales transactions using POS (Point of Sale) systems, ensuring accurate cash register operations and cash handling
• Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise presentation aligns with merchandising standards
• Conduct product demos to highlight quality, craftsmanship, and unique features of high-end items
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Manage cash drawer handling efficiently and accurately during daily transactions
• Support inventory management by stocking new arrivals and conducting stock counts as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable shopping experience

Skills

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within high-end or luxury environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clientele; bilingual abilities are a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, retail math, and cash handling procedures
• Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities or team support roles
• Ability to perform retail store product knowledge effectively, including conducting product demos and explaining features clearly
• Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills both in person and over the phone
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that drive sales
• Basic math skills necessary for cash register operations and retail transactions
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude toward upselling and enhancing the shopping experience
