Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures with accuracy using POS systems
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling practices to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or pastries as needed
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced café environment
