The Coffee House at 1324 P Street in Lincoln, NE in the heart of Downtown Lincoln are looking for an experienced barista or two to join our coffee family!
We are locally owned and owner-operated since 1987
We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply
Speaking a second Language is a plus
We are open 6am-3pm daily
Great starting pay tips, included paid training on-site
Shifts can be flexible. Preferred set schedules
Qualifications should include:
- Proven working experience as a barista
- Enjoys a busy environment
- Outgoing Personality
- Inclusive and a Team Player
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Food Handlers Permit RS (level3) We will pay for this
- A person that is positive and willing to try new things
- 18 Years or Older
- Able to work until 4/4:30pm at the latest
- Good with People
- Good Listening skills
- Self Starter
- Caring and Compassionate with Others
- Wants to work 20 Hours per week
- Likes to be clean, tidy, and Organized
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold beverages to perfection
- Using Barista tools and Following Recipes
- Willing to learn about coffee, tea and all preparation methods
- Being a Friendly face to our wonderful customers
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area throughout the day
- Understand and follow health and safety protocols established by LLCHD
- Interact with co-workers and customers professionally
- Stock, Clean, and organize barista station
- Serve Food
- Cash handling and use of Square Point of Sale
- Homebase Scheduling system App is required for your phone
