Job Overview
Join our café team as a Barista Cashier, where you'll create memorable experiences for guests by serving beverages, handling cash transactions, and delivering excellent customer service. Duties
Prepare and serve coffee beverages and light food, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate POS systems for accurate sales processing, manage cash and credit transactions, and provide attentive customer service. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, effectively manage time during busy periods, and assist with food preparation and supply restocking to support café operations.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred
- Experience with POS systems
- Demonstrated ability in customer service within a fast-paced environment
- Strong cash handling skills and basic math proficiency for retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures (Must have a valid California Food Handlers Card)
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively as part of a team
Shift Times
Monday - Friday (Establishment closed weekends)
- Opening Shift
6:30-12:00
- Closing Shift
12:30-5:30
