theCoderSchool is an after-school program for kid coders. Headquartered in Silicon Valley with locations around the country, we provide a fun, energetic, and inspirational environment to bring out that inner hacker in all kids! Pay: $15–$20/hr • In person • Great side gig!
Love tech? Love kids? Love helping them turn ideas into real games and apps? You’ll fit right in at theCoderSchool!
What You’ll Do
- Teach kids (6–18) to code using Scratch, Python, HTML/CSS/JS, etc.
- Mentor them, cheer them on, and help them think like real coders.
- Come up with fun ideas, challenges, and activities that keep kids excited and engaged.
- Chat with parents, celebrate wins, and make learning fun!
- Bonus if you know Unity, Roblox Lua, Unreal, Swift, or chess.
Hours are flexible (4–20/week) during our after-school schedule: 1–7 PM weekdays, 10–3 Saturdays.
What We’re Looking For
- Big energy big passion for tech and gaming.
- Basic coding skills and a willingness to learn more.
- Creative mindset—able to keep kids motivated and interested.
- Reliable, communicative, and able to start at 1 PM.
Do NOT Apply If…
- You aren’t open to learning new tools or teaching methods.
- You don’t have a strong work ethic or don’t actually want to work with kids.
- You prefer to “clock in and coast.” This job is hands-on and fun!
