We are a high profile Los Angeles based Civil Rights Plaintiff's Litigation Law Firm in the Mid-Wilshire District, seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong background in trial preparation, discovery, and filings in both State and Federal Court, and at least 5 years of experience in either Civil Rights or Personal Injury law.

Responsibilities
- E-Filing with Los Angeles Superior, State, and Federal Courts
- Propounding discovery and drafting responses
- Understanding CCP/FRCP discovery deadlines and motion practice
- Draft pleadings, motions, appellate documents
- Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes
- Manage relationships with clients and client's family members
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
Skills Required
- Paralegal degree or certificate
- Minimum 10 years experience as a litigation Paralegal
- Strong Word Processor skills(pleadings, tables, shells, declarations)
- Strong Adobe Acrobat skills(ocr, bookmarks, appendices, redaction)
- Experience with TrueFile, CM/ECF, and LASC Tech Portal
- Lexis Nexus and Pacer knowledge
- Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc
