Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservation bookings, and seat guests efficiently
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Assist servers by delivering food promptly from the kitchen to tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Clear tables efficiently after guests leave, resetting them for new diners while adhering to food safety standards.
- Support the host team by managing guest flow during busy periods, including handling reservations and walk-in seating with organizational precision.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions or concerns courteously and professionally, fostering positive guest relations.
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, bus stations, and service stations to uphold high standards of hospitality and food safety.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette, to interact confidently with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in a restaurant setting.
