Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Executive Chef.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times.
- Assist in food prep tasks, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, and marinating proteins.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines in compliance with health regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
- Assist in inventory management, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
- Follow opening and closing procedures as directed by the chef team.
- Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude in a team-focused environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook preferred.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Culinary school training is a plus but not required.
