Job Description
The Club at Ibis is looking for a qualified and experienced Aquatics Fitness Instructor to lead engaging and effective water-based fitness classes for adults.
We are seeking a certified fitness professional with experience teaching adult aqua fitness classes. This is an independent contractor opportunity, ideal for someone who can provide their own insurance and work on a W-9 basis.
Please note: This position is for aqua fitness classes, not swimming lessons or swim instruction.
Responsibilities
- Lead group aqua fitness classes for adults.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable workout environment.
- Ensure exercises are appropriate for participants' fitness levels.
- Follow all applicable safety guidelines during classes.
Requirements
- Current, valid group fitness certification or specialized aqua fitness instructor certification.
- Previous experience teaching adult aqua fitness classes preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license.
- Personal liability insurance.
- All required fitness certifications must be current and non-expired.
Position Type
- Independent Contractor (1099/W-9).

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
